High return Waseca development with significant Mannville Stack potential in additional zones in the Cold Lake Oil Sands Area

In partnership with the Frog Lake First Nation and Frog Lake Energy Resource Corp., Rubellite is developing and producing heavy oil from the Mannville Stack of the Cold Lake Oil Sands Area.  Located near the Alberta/Saskatchewan border between Bonnyville and Lloydminster, the Frog Lake assets are being developed using open-hole multi-lateral horizontal wells primarily from the Waseca sand.  Additional resource and conventional development potential exists in the General Petroleum and Sparky sands of the Mannville Group. 

Rubellite is the operator and has an average working interest of 50% in partnership with Frog Lake Energy Resources Corp. (“FLERC”).
