Operations Figure Lake

Exploration and delineation success spurring active Clearwater development to rapidly grow production, reserves, funds flow and value

Rubellite has accumulated an extensive contiguous land position and is successfully investing capital to develop  extensive heavy oil accumulations in the Figure Lake area.  The Wabiskaw Member of the Clearwater Formation is being exploited using multi-leg open hole horizontal wells with lateral lengths of up to ~19,000m.  Production is trucked to terminals and a legacy gas gathering pipeline network has been reactivated to conserve solution gas and send natural gas to sales beginning in January 2025. 

Concentrated operations, excellent road infrastructure and adequate solution gas to fuel operations results in low operating costs. Rubellite initiated a novel gas injection scheme in 2025, and is implementing two water flood pilots in 2026 to improve resource recovery and evaluate the technologies. Rubellite has a 100% working interest at Figure Lake.
